Gabby & Bert’s Retro Romance Takes Center Stage at Barr Mansion
Once upon an ordinary workday, two not-so-ordinary humans crossed paths. At first, Gabby and Bert kept it casual—quick chats, polite smiles—but let’s be honest, there was definitely something simmering beneath the surface. Fast forward a little, and Bert is dog-sitting Gabby’s 3-month-old puppy while she’s out on the town. Yep, you read that right. This guy was putting in major “future husband” energy before Gabby even realized it. Naturally, her heart went hmm… interesting. It wasn’t long after that she started to feel the butterflies! She spilled the beans about her crush to a friend, the word got back to Bert, and cue the rom-com montage… the love story was officially on.
And then (drumroll please) Bert proposed under the freaking NORTHERN LIGHTS in Iceland. Yes, the sky literally said, “You two are meant to be.”
Together, Gabby & Bert are the ultimate dynamic duo with their furry sidekicks, Nugget and Sunny. Their perfect night involves a cozy couch, a movie, and dogs happily snuggled in. But that’s not all! They’re also the kind of couple who thrives on live concerts, comedy shows, and tracking down the best eats in town.
Ohhh baby, their wedding was a vibe. We’re talking full-blown vintage-retro magic: disco balls spinning, quirky phone booths, and a sea of family and friends turning the night into one giant celebration. Gabby & Bert twirled, laughed, and loved their way through it all. And as Bert always says, “No time spent with you is ever going to be enough.” (Excuse us while we swoon.)
