Alex is equal parts technical brainiac and mushy romance addict. She’s a firm believer in organized chaos, creativity with a spreadsheet… the right brain has the ideas, the left brain gets ‘em done. She loves how weddings seem to subscribe to this same proviso with their minute to minute timelines and wild, raucous dance parties. She’ll keep you on track, cut a rug on the dance floor and bring it all home in a glorious edit.
Alex grew up in Southern California in the ‘90s. She can watch Kill Bill Vol. 1 and Jurassic Park anytime and she walked down the aisle to Dreams by The Cranberries. In her spare time, she might be tap dancing or building with Lego. She’s a Virgo.

Jim is as curious as a cat and his enthusiasm never wanes. He wants to learn everything and do everything. He’s the one who would pull over to see the world’s largest wheel of cheese (and maybe take a nibble when nobody’s watching). His eyeballs have seen a lot and it makes him real good behind a camera. He’s everybody’s best friend and he’ll be yours, too.
Jim grew up in Rural Pennsylvania in the ‘90s. He can watch Tombstone and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas anytime and he walked down the aisle to Old College Try by The Mountain Goats. In his spare time, he might be dabbling in mycology or reading. He’s a Sagittarius.
Well... an enchanted moment
We’re Alex and Jim. We met working together as visual journalists one hot summer in Phoenix, Arizona. We fell in love making documentaries, kept making them for awhile all over the country (and West Africa), then decided to make movies together forever and got hitched. To put it simply, we love what we do and we love doing it together.
Each of us has been photographing, filming and editing for more than 10 years, so we like to think at this point we know what we’re doing. We’re into old spaghetti westerns, Quentin Tarantino movies and pretty much anything with some badassery. We love cinematic shots, clean sound and epic storytelling. Oh, and we’re constantly laughing and crying (sometimes at the same time) while editing our films.

Alex & Jim got married on the roof of the Hotel Valley Ho in 2018. They walked back down the aisle to The Rising by Bruce Springsteen. Some of their favorite shows to binge are Chef’s Table, Breaking Bad and Schitt’s Creek. They love to explore Meow Wolf exhibits and national parks. When they’re not making films, they might be sipping cocktails at a speakeasy or playing dominoes.
